Throughout our long relationship with E2V, we have been responsible for continuous energy management duties in order to minimise the environmental impact of their continuously growing electronic manufacturing site. Our continuous auditing of the site and innovative ideas have helped E2V achieve Carbon Trust Standard year on year, as well as achieving 34th place in the Sunday Times Green Business Award 2011.

We worked extensively on this prestigious development of 11 high-end residential units on a former Officers Mess site. In fact, an initial sustainability statement for planning conditions and utility connection and disconnection applications grew to a fully integrated design project. The complete works package comprised of mechanical and electrical design, specification and working drawings, strategy reports for Building Control, a complete utility package and Energy Performance Certificates for the houses upon completion.

We work in partnership with ISS to offer their clients access to our services. The success of this partnership has led to us becoming a preferred supplier for the ISS portfolio. Clients across a range of industries have saved money and energy as a result of our management of their energy procurement and by providing reports on their energy usage to highlight inefficiencies.

We have established a great working partnership with Wilkin & Sons, Tiptree over the last 5 years. This has helped them to achieve energy usage reductions in key areas across their site. We carried out complete site audits during 2010 and 2011 and provided recommendations on how they can save up to 20% of their site’s total energy. Many of the recommendations are now being implemented with pemxq’s assistance. We were also responsible for staff training and are currently assisting further by providing innovative ideas for the proposed new Tiptree factory development.
